This is the toughest storyline to figure out...What do you do with Kevin Owens? Yesterday, I discussed Dean Ambrose, and how a heel turn would be great, but with Owens it is more complicated then just a turn.
When looking at the WWE roster you just do not have many up and coming baby faces. That is why figuring out a new fresh story for Owens is one of the most difficult WWE has to figure out.
When Owens walked into Raw he was already over with the fans. The problem with that is the fans want a big push, but the locker room says hold up, what has he ever done? My goal for Owens and his storyline is to keep him over with the fans, while establishing himself in the locker room.
How I Get There
With Owens having his first title really helps his status in the company, but as Triple H says its the man who makes the title not the other way around. A perfect way to start Owens title run is to have a huge feud with Chris Jericho. With Y2J just making an appearance at NOC, it would be great to give him so more air time. Can you just imagine the promos these two can have with each other. This feud the fans will love, and helps Owens establish himself in the locker room.
After this feud with Y2J the next feud for Owens should be with Sami Zayn. The Owens Zayn feud was great at NXT, and it never really finished due to Zayn's injury. You have Owens come out and shoot a promo telling the crowd how great he is, and Sami Zayn sneaks outs and jumps him. They build up the feud, and actually have Sami Zayn finally end up on top taking the belt from Kevin Owens.
With these two storylines he has established himself enough to take on his biggest challenge...Brock Lesnar. Kevin Owens builds himself up as a prize fighter, and so does Brock Lesnar, so why not have prize fighter vs prize fighter at Wrestlemania. You can set it up at the Royal Rumble, and have Owens interfere with a Lesnar match. At Wrestlemania I would have Kevin Owens beat Lesnar. This way Owens can be vaulted into main events and going for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
