For some strange reason I take pride in discovering people, whether it is a new band or an on air personality. Maybe it is a way to compete with myself and see if I can be ahead of the trend or maybe I am a secret hipster who is trying to fight the man. I don't why but I do, I have discovered One Republic when MySpace was still a thing (poor Tom btw), I found Ed Sheeran just before he blew up states side. I remember going to a testing for a show called Number Never Lie and seeing Charissa Thompson and saying wow see is going to be a star. Of course there are people I bet on that never have hit it big, but thats the name of the game.
Besides gloating I wanted to give two people for people to give a look out for. The first is Dave Patten, a singer song writer, he has a new album coming out and think has a good shot at hitting it big. The other one has been a long history with her and it is Katie Nolan. I found her doing the Guyism Speed Round being very funny, sexy, and charming. Then she signed with Fox Sports and I thought here she comes, and there was a short burst of popularity. However when her show Crowd Goes Wild failed Fox Sports had no idea what to do with Katie, and put her back to YouTube videos where she is great. If Fox ever gives her another chance on TV she can be the next Charissa Thompson or even bigger.
