Going to school up in Connecticut I got to meet lots of Boston fans, and see what a happy fan base looks like. In my life I got to go to one awesome parade in 2008. I got to see a Villanova final four run, a great run by the Flyers that was awesome and so close to a miraculous season, a Sixers run in 2001 to the NBA Finals (That team was AI and a bunch of scrubs and I loved every second of it). What I am getting at is Philly has great sports run yet no magically ending, but Boston gets it EVERY SINGLE TIME!
The 01 Pats beating the greatest show on turf, the 04 Red Sox's reversing the curse, the 13 Red Sox's, and thats only the tip of the ice burgh. And again on Sunday the Patriots win again and Boston is having there 10 millionth parade in my lifetime, while I'm in Philly just stewing in my own anger. Philadelphia and Boston are very similar people we are blue collar tough nose to the grind type of town. The difference is the city's sports. While the Eagles have zero Super Bowls ever Brady has more wins in the playoffs than the entire Eagles franchise. The Phillies were the coolest team in 93 and captured the world but than Joe Carter ruined it with his home run. You have 2013 Sox team that really isn't that good and rallies together and wins another Wold Series. Its unbelievably its inconceivable it makes me sick the luck they have. It has to turn around, it has to end, I need the roles to reverse for my sanity.
