Last night in the Clippers vs Cavs there were 5 technical fouls, but only one got the headline. A rookie female referee called a technical foul on Chris Paul for him mouthing off to her. After the game Chris Paul said, "That's ridiculous. If that's the case this might not be for her." After that people exploded, feminist everywhere are sharpening their pitch forks and ready to get Paul. Before they go and get him was it really bad? If he had said the same exact thing about a rookie male referee would people be upset? When people are playing the emotions are running high and things can get out of hand, she did the right thing and giving him a technical. The NBA will be in the right to fine Paul because he talked bad about a referee. The NBA Referee Union is right to defend her and her call. Where they are wrong in making this a story about sexism. The First Take people of the world who want to make a story out of every little thing where this sound not be a story. So if you think Chris Paul is sexist because of this one instance, I would like to never meet you ever.
